My process began with just painting or drawing something every day and wanting to get better at it. A desire to always learn built a lifetime of experience. I came to understand theprocess of failed attempts would yield some success over time. It wasn’t one thing. It was many things that evolved into vision put into practice.
Adding design to what was found in nature was a big jump for me. This did not come from a book or a workshop. It came from just being outside interpreting the view while painting, hiking, surfing, skiing and observing nature deeply in the light and in all kinds of weather.
For me ,art was found in the journey of doing something over and over and discovering a little more each time.
